I have a 1990 VFR750, love the handling. But when it gets hot (I ride in SW Florida) the gas percolates in the carbs causing low speed/idle problems after 45min or so running. Soooo, I bought a 800VFRFi and problem solved. Fuel injection is king!

Love the V4’s

Hi, just thought I would comment on on the carb’s over heating on the 1990. I had the same problem with my 1984 Intercepter VF1000, went I put the full fairing by Pishler out of Germany. Tried a 12v fan with switch, no good, so went down 1 jet size and perfect👌My 1990 had no problem in North Ontario summers, like you said fi is the answer. My VFR history is after the 90, I had my 1st 99 Red, 02 VTec Red, 2009 VTec pearl white, and now 2nd 99 yellow my all time fav, after 18 rides😎
