Harley to FJR

I am 57 and have ridden Harleys most of my life because my friends would not have it any other way. Pure peer pressure. My last Harley was a Street Glide. So big rumbling bike. One day my battery was dead and I borrowed a neighbor’s FJR. He was not riding it much.

Oh my!!! Nice ride, comfortable, nimble, power!! I never looked back. Sold my Harley, bought his 2005 FJR and commute on it 130 miles per day.

By the way, I am 5’ 2” and 160 lbs and do not have any issues handling this bike. Looking to upgrade to a 2016. Only regret is I should have switched 20 years ago.
