Own and tour on a 2015 FJR. Have owned 35 bikes of most all brands and styles in 58 years of riding. The smoothness and polished power of this bike takes a second to none. I have ridden all over North America and would put it against any brand. It is not a swiss army knife (klr 650 or a Gs) but on the hard surface it rules the roost. BMW boxers, I had a few, not in the league. V 4 engines, no problem outpacing them either. The big V-twin scene not in the same game as these are interstate bikes and are not going to do the work in the mountains sport touring machines will. A goldwing, had 2, beast of burden and too much still air for me. Oh well that sums it up for me. Thanks Alan
